GPS has it's own system tied to the LCD it's not a backup camera that takes in a composite signal. Spend the extra $8 for the correct one.

From what I can gather by googling that chip tells me this isn't a voltage regulator but insteada 32 Kbit electrically erasable PROM. Or an "EEPROM". See here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EEPROM

The voltage regulator is probably somewhere else on the board.

2nd and 3rd pictures show an inverter gate chip. You need to be looking for a voltage regulator chip.

Check these encircled chips and upload some clear pictures.

You may be able to trim the board on the button contollers side but check the traces first.

I got my BW screen today... Didn't even look at the box before I opened the case. I don't think I will be able to use it on my upcoming gameboy zero build, since they sent me what looks like the 5" version. Does anyone have experience with this screen?

Could use q 2.8 or 2.4, or the standard 3.5 composite / 3.2 spi and scale it down with overscan
