Re: Custom ES Theme for 3.5" GBZ Screens
@Ganreizu A dark theme would be easy enough. Just would need to change a handful of color codes in the gbz35.xml file. I opted for the lighter backgrounds since a lot of the art and system logos don't show up as well on a dark background.
I have a bit of tweaking I want to do on the XMLs first, and maybe I'll post an alternate dark version here...

Thanks; fixed.beerman wrote:Your Lynx folder won't work. It needs to be called "atarilynx" rather than "lynx"
I also tweaked the Basic view to show an extra game on the screen at any given time, and added a bit of color to the menus.

I'm getting access denied errors trying to follow your instructions on github, and by sftp.
Edit: I am a retard, missed a setup!

Re: Custom ES Theme for 3.5" GBZ Screens
Just a small update.. I added icons to give compatibility with the Child Friendly EmulationStation package.
If you have this package installed, any games that are hidden, favorited, or marked as child-friendly will have the corresponding icon show up in the detailed view only. If you don't have it installed, you won't notice anything different from the last version of this theme.

Re: Custom ES Theme for 3.5" GBZ Screens
My instructions only show how to update the Samba shares, and not WinSCP. If you have a Windows PC, you should be able to get to the themes folder using regular old Windows Explorer.Lpoolm wrote:do love this theme, but struggling to get it to work.

I actually haven't ever used WinSCP to transfer files, so I can't really give any good advice. Check the ownership of the themes folder maybe? I dunno...
