Hello, first time poster here! I recently began my own try at the Gameboy Zero! Unfortunately I miss cut the X and Y holes (show below) along with the PCB I am using. I'm wondering will it work as is? Is there a fix to this? Or should I just scrap the case and retry on a new one?

It looks like there might be enough of the traces close to the middle that it could still work. It would be very easy to test though: connect some wires and hook up a multimeter, and you'll know very quickly whether or not they will work as-is. Good luck!

I accidentally did that too. Guess the paper template I used moved when I did the first hole. As wermy said, it'll probably work, just as mine but I couldn't stand the buttons being so much "off grid" so I ordered a new case since they're so cheap.

I would get a new case, I did the same with my first shell too. I printed my template 'to fit' rather than 'actual size' . Everything worked, it just really irritated me. so I had to get a new case, just bought one from ebay. This is what my first one looked like vs my second one.

Happened to me as well... I used a paper template that came with the controller PCB. I want to blame the template lol I was sure I was being careful when marking the hole placement. Anyway, controls still work fine on mine and it isn't too noticeable. It does bother me though lol
