My problem:

When I get in to emulationstation I cant se detailes like the carbon-background, the "gamelist-text" looks red and fuzzy, unreadable. But all the emulator logos looks very good.

But if I turn up my screens (adafruit 3,5) brightness allot then all that text is very readable and turns white, not red or fuzzy. But then the "dark- coulors" of for example the sega genesis logo, where I coose emulator, dissapears because of the brightness (in the start menu of emulationstation). So Iam not able to have both "gamelist-text" visible and "emulator-logos" visible.

Is there any way too fix this? Seemes too be a problem with brightess. But also the brightness is a proplem when turned up too much in the startmenu. I have made one try with the .xml(carbon theme) file and change the font size too 0,05 but then the emulationstation theme turnd white...had to reinstall retropie. :|

(Raspberry PI Zero and adafruit 3.5 screen)
(I will try too ad some pictures later)

Hey man, so this is fairly common when building these things. Your going to have to find a comfortable compromise between your screens contrast and brightness. You could upgrade to a higher resolution screen and it will be a little clearer for you. Its gonna just take some trial and error on your part to find out what you can live with. You can also change the font colors and highlighted colors in many of the menus by altering the .xml of the theme which I see you did with the font size already. I would focus more on how your games look when playing them rather than your menus. If your happy with the color, brightness and contrast while playing your games that in my opinion matters the most. Good luck
