5V Power Issues - Help Please

I'll explain the problem first. My Raspberry Pi starts loading up Retropie but then it dies and restarts. It keeps doing this loop when I'm using battery to power it.

I'll explain my battery power set up and if there a better method please help me.

I have a 3.8 V Battery that's goes into a cheap TP4056 for charging. The charger is then connected to the 5V power booster via inputs. This wire has a switch to reduce power wastage. The 5V 1 amp from the booster is outputed from V+ and V- to the Pi 5V and GND via a switch. Switch or no switch I still get the same problem.

Should I skip the charger and connect the battery directly to the booster?
Is my booster not enough power for the Pi?

I'm very sorry, I'm new to this hobby.

The power boost should also charge the battery (at least it looks like the banggood power boost which I use and does charge the battery). You can connect the battery directly to the B- and B+ pads on the power boost. Plugging a micro usb in will charge the battery. I'd try that. Not sure why you need that other charger thing.

You only need one of those boards, the green one is doing nothing wired how it is now. Just wire the battery terminals to the green board and ditch the blue one. Those TP4056 boards are pretty low spec cheap stuff and the other board will do much better.

Thanks! There wasn't much spec on the Power Booster from the Ebay seller so I was unsure if it had the battery protection stuff. Which explains me using the TP4056 for safe measure.

I'll redo my wiring once I get more solder :lol:
