Hi,

After having the Gameboy almost finished, I need to place the battery now. I think there is place but when I close it, the battery will touch one part on the other side of the case. As long as the battery doesn't expand, that should be fine though.
But, does it happen that the battery expands when it gets warm?

Shouldn't do.

Will get warm perhaps but unless it starts to fail it shouldn't swell.

Over time or perhaps depending on its quality or overcharging, batteries can fail and swell so always keep an eye on it as standard IMO.

Especially if the battery you have is a cheap one...
