Now that the CM3 is released in lite variant too, How feasible would a compute module based AIO would be? Any thoughts?

I saw that this morning. Didn't dig into much, but what is the purpose of that module? Who or what would use it?

An AIO with a module holder will mostly be a complete solution for a true AIO. GBZ using CM3 would be powerful and compact. I doubt it will be cheap.

$25 for the lite module isn't a bad price. I intend to have a look at the pinout and see what's possible to do with in for my projects.

Only issue I see with the compute module is the usb hub that is not part of the board and must be something I decide on and with the bad luck with the fe1.1s I need to research better working hubs.

How about the Genesis Logic IC - GL850G, works well for 2 of my hubs.

I'm going to be testing this chip and a prototype board in a week or 2 after the Chinese new year is over.
