Audio wiring

Hello everybody !
This is my first topic on the forum and I hope I'm able to explain my problem (i couldn't find anything helpful on the other ones).

I got some questions about the audio wiring mentioned in the adafruit tutorial :
Image

- Where do I connect the LOUT_R & LOUT_L outputs ? (maybe directly to the amplifier ?)
- Where do I put all the GROUND-connections ?
- Why does the tutorial skip the protection diodes ? Aren't those useful ?
- And what's about the +3V3 ? Can't figure out where to put that one.

I'm also unsure about the following parts (pot, jack and speaker), so any additional infos would be great :)

I came up with a solution that could help some of you guys ! (After finishing the tutorial for the GPIO's)

I didn't use the "switch" contact of the headphone jack, but it worked fine !

The only thing that needs to be fixed is a noise from the speaker while im in the retropie mask.
But the moment I'm starting a game it works just fine.

(Automatically switching between headphone and speaker works fine too)

Sorry for my paint-skills

*insert a little paper towel for bleeding eyes*
