Here is my board Image
Thank you!

I'm guessing this board uses the AMT630A and not the AMT630? Can you please check?

It uses AMT630. Here is another image

@Hex can you confirm that this board will get HOT if you supply 5v or 12v? But will NOT get hot if you use 3.3v?

Yes, You saw my setup before. It doesnt get hot. You have to supply 3.3v either where the blue wire is or the yellow wire is (3rd pin on IC). Removing that IC is highly recommended.

My BW boards are obviously different from yours but the same video chip(AMT630).

I will try a 3.3v power supply but i highly doubt it will make a difference since the 3.3v regulator does not get hot only the amt630 chip. But i will try.

What voltage are you supplying to the board. Take the board out and show me the underside of the PCB. If you are connecting 5v to regulator output why will it heat up. you have just bypassed it and current is not at all flowing through it. But your AMT630 is getting 5v instead of 3.3v and it is heating because of that.

Im currently supplying 5v to the input(which is directly connected to the output of the 5v regulator) of the 3.3v regulator which turns it to 3.3v for the amt630 chip. 5v is not connected on any pins of the amt630.

You connect 5v to 3.3v regulator's output and not input. that is going to AMT630. so you are sending 5v to AMT630. How are you not getting this.

No no. 5v supply is connected to the input of the 3.3v regulator. As i said only 3.3v is being supplied to the amt630. I double checked it with a multimeter.

The BW boards i have each have 2 regulators. One 5v regulator that takes 12v and turns to 5v. The other one is a 3.3v regulator that takes 5v and turns it to 3.3v.
