Hello Everyone. I'm trying to convert my BW board. I've looked around on the forums and haven't really found anything on this board. Also, without converting and using powerboost 1000c, I just get a black screen.

Looks like it's this one: http://www.sudomod.com/wiki/index.php?t ... AG0115.jpg

Variant 7 from: http://sudomod.com/wiki/index.php?title=GBZ_Screen
Thanks much for the reply, I tried that a few times, but every time it seems to "overdraw/overheat" the power boost. Any ideas?

test it first unmodded with a power supply that was intended for it.

It works fine with and without the conversion when running from the original power supply, but my problem is getting it to play nice with the power boost.

i thought you said "Also, without converting and using powerboost 1000c, I just get a black screen."? Are you getting any picture when unmodded using a power supply/brick?

Are there any other device being powered by the powerboost? do you have a multimeter? Check the output voltage.

Oh! Sorry I mean to say that when I do convert and run from the power boost, I get a black screen. This also happened when I don't convert. But if I run from the original power source, it will work fine converted or not. Also, whether I power other things other than the screen or not, I get the same thing. Sorry about the mistype.

Please post some pictures of the connection to the powerboost.
It seems something is wrong there. Like a shorted joint.

Just used one of these variant 7 screens with powerboost fine yesterday.
Tried with the voltage booster in place then removed it. Both methods work fine.
Be sure to link the 5v pin on the booster to power.

Side note powerboost shows low battery with screen and overclocked zero running off lipo.
No overclock runs fine.
