General spacing question

Post by yaniv » Sat May 28, 2016 10:51 pm

Just wondering if anyone else is worried about space within the case. I've finished guides 1-4 and beginning to think there is no way this case is ever going to close. Not sure if I am keeping my wires too long, using too much glue, or just rushing things, but at the moment the case will only close with a bit of pressure (didn't put the screws in yet).

Wermy's looks flawless, whereas mine currently looks like a kid wearing a blindfold and trying to color within the lines :| I'd hate to get to the end just to find out it can't close and I need to start over. So any tips on how to deal with this stuff, or an idea on how much more we need to put inside etc?

Wire management with short clean wires are your best friend to get it tight, and your worst enemy in the world when it doesn't. Another helpful tip, I had some some blu tack (adhesive putty) that I sort of placed everything where it needed to go before I wired things, and made sure the case closed and opened easy enough. Planning helps a lot.
