Hard time removing the Cartridge Reader

Any help on how to remove the cartridge reader would be awesome.

Tips plox.

Ive been passing over each soldering pin with the iron and its just they cool down before I can get the others up

Solder sucker is the best bet and if you have the cash an electric solder sucker is amazing! I shelled out $120 for my Chinese knockoff but makes things like this a 1 minute job with no fuss or damage to the pins or board.

Desoldering braid is my weapon of choice.

I had the same problem. It took me I think 2 or 3 hours to get that thing off the PCB. (firstr time working with a solder iron) :roll:

As Camble said use Desoldering braid. It's very easy to use even if you have no expirience with soldering. Just lay a fresh piece of the braid onto the pin where you want to remove the solder and press you solder iron onto the braid. You will see that the braid will "soak" the hot solder like sponge. Just make sure you allways use fresh braid. Otherwise it will not work and give you a hard time.
