How hot is the power boost suppose to get?
Curious.. I have noticed that the power boost gets pretty hot while powered on. Wondering is this is normal?

I got this from their page:Popcorn wrote:Unbelievably hot. I just fried mine! Contacted support. Hope they can replace this one!

Q: When I plug into the microUSB jack the PowerBoost gets really hot!
A: Yep, that is normal - the charging circuit will draw up to 1000mA to charge the battery fast, the charger chip will get very hot! It has internal thermal protection but it is not unsual for it to get too hot to touch
Q: When I am charging the battery while also boosting, the PowerBoost gets really hot!

Ah, man. I read a review of someone complaining about it getting hot, but I was hoping it was just a lemon.
I wonder if we charge it with a "slow charge" cable? Maybe it won't get AS hot.

I wonder if a heat sink wrap of some sort would work? Not like a solid heat sink or a fan since that might be too much room but something to wrap it in to absorb heat?

Mine gets pretty warm, but certainly not hot enough to drive me to looking through FAQs for it. :\ Wonder how much variation there is from one batch to another.
