How much lip to leave

Hi there,

that depends on your method of fixing it.
I left 1,5mm. For instance, you can use double sided tape or glue.

Ok thankyou. I forgot to mention I'm using the adafruit 3.5 screen, I am unsure of this affects how much lip I should leave?

Also do you have a suggestion on where people got there glass screen protectors? I am in Australia so unfortunately kitsch stores shipping rules it out.

The kind of display you are using should not affect the protector at all.
I've got mine from a user of this forum, but i think he does not make them anymore.
Others bought them or just cut them out from their monitors cases.
