PWM audio filter help

Post by Spruc3Moose » Fri Jun 10, 2016 6:48 pm

So I built my filter today, but not sure if it is hooked up right. I just thought I would post it here for some feedback. I have not hooked it up the pi zero yet because I am not sure which wires go where. I have the two wires from the amp (from the guide) ready to go, but not sure which ground to use going into the filter and out. Also not sure where the pot wheel goes in this setup. Any help would be great...or I will just wait until the next guide.

I have GPIO feeding the filter. Then a single connection coming out of the filter off of the 10uf capacitor which goes to L-IN on the Pot. L-Out is connected to Audio+ on the amp. And GND on the Pot is connected to Audio- on the amp. Thats basically it. Oh, and my pot sucks. I'm desoldering another one and/or buying a new one. My audio is flaking depending on how nicely I touch the pot. Already tried an IPA bath. No effect

Thank you, that is very helpful. I will try it out and report back on how it works.
