Power strip wiring- join wires?

In wermy's 4th video he talks about making a sort of 'power strip' out of perf board, where the powerboost can supply power to the rPi0, usb hub, screen and amplifier. Now I goofed and forgot to solder the amplifier wires into the perf board before I hot glued the perf board in place.

I absolutely cannot get the amplifier wires into the perf board hole because the side with the copper traces are now hot glued in the opposite direction (I tried for hours soldering them in from the back anyways and it didnt work). I'm trying desparately to avoid undoing my hot glue job because I'm a good wermy disciple and used like 100 lbs of it. So i'm looking for an alternative solution

My question is this: can I merge my amplifier wires directly into the power strip wires going to the powerboost? After I solder the 'merger' together I'd hot glue it to provide some insulation. I'm a bit of a novice here- i "feel" like it would work but i'm not positive.

You sure can just use some hot glue for insulation or some electrical tape or even liquid electrical tape.

Awesome, just making sure. Thanks!
