So I got my DMG-01 damaged in the mail today and I was ready to get started ordering parts for either my GBZ or CM3 version but it seems Helder and Kites' "all in one" boards that are considered the best place to start are sold out and no more preorders.

Are there any other good boards to take a look at? Really prefer an all in one solution as opposed to buying lots of separate components as my soldering skills are mediocre at best.

I believe kite's cso will be back up for pre-order later this month. You can sign up for his mailing list and you'll be notified the minute they're up for pre-order. It's unlimited order until the time period closes so you won't have to worry about them selling out.

Already done. Does anyone know kites price and is there anything else I can do/need to purchase while I wait?

Here are some on eBay, one is the Retro Gaming Now Aio board sold in the US (Massachusetts), the other is a Tinkerboy Aio board sold in the Phillipines which takes about 2 weeks to arrive.
I've purchased one of each, Tinkerboy board arrived a few days ago, the RGN board still hasn't been shipped yet.
Tinkerboy board looks very nice and professional.

I'll take a look at those... I wanted to make sure I wasn't buying a Chinese knock off. I want to make sure I'm supporting the original developer.

Tinkerboy is part of this community and has developed his own product.
Of course, whatever you see will, from far or close, be inspired by Helder’s board as he was the first one to design a board for game boys.
