Bottom mounted HDMI port

Is it possible to relocate the HDMI port to the bottom of the Gameboy shell? I'm about to begin my first build and I was thinking of making a Qi charging stand with a HDMI jack on the bottom of the stand. I found these HDMI ports with the ribbon that look like they may fit below the PCB.

That would allow me to charge and connect HDMI to the television without wires all over the place. Any thoughts or suggestions? Also would I have more room with a GBZ build or a CM3 build with Kites PCB?

You can get hdmi extensions and cut a whole in the bottom of the case for the shell. Wire management might be a bit more tricky but it's definitely doable.
