There was someone around who resold for 1up, but I haven't seen him around in a while either. I'll give a look around and reply back if I find any info

i suspect that 1UP has kinda put on hold the RPi3 Game Boy builds, as some of the components require a bit more work to install
(namely the HDMI LCD, could be wrong on this) and the kit was a complete mess (IMHO)

but he is making other kits (or pre-built)....
and these I've seen on Aliexpress, which are made to order....
you could contact the seller and ask if 1UP could supply the Game Boy kit via them

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Pocket- ... 49d0vG7Hvk

there is another product with the same seller (on Aliexpress)
which is a Game Boy Pi3 (LCL by the looks of it)...
it doesn't have all the ports, which were a bit overkill (again IMHO).... but has some....

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5000-in ... 49d0vG7Hvk

personally....
i think the 1UP kit was great in theory....
but just really poorly executed, and the kits are not user friendly at all....
and can be easily recreated by anyone (the features that is), by just using a HDMI LCD and any button board and a obviously a Pi3

i've built a couple, and ive always had to put my own take on them to make them look half decent and presentable
(you just dont need all the ports exposed)

one of my previous 1UP builds (built for someone)

Yeah I never bought one because it ends up not even looking like a Gameboy at the end of the day. Too many hacks to the case and screws for my taste. Wasn't a huge fan of his gameboys but his other projects we're neat, I enjoyed the acrylics arcades

i agree with everything veteran said!
I really liked the concept when i first saw it and decided to buy one off these boards from someone who imported them.
I hated almost the whole build, you have to do a lot of modding to the case, nothing fits well you have to adjust rebuild, adjust, rebuild!
I finished it played for 5 minutes then sold, would not buy another!
I did however have a search for him recently on youtube and there is a new vid of a few new builds, including the dreamcast vmu which has kind of been forgotten about so i do think you can buy the kits, but it has always been hard!
