Is there an alternative to using a 3d screen bracket for a Gearbest screen.

Yeah, before people designed brackets it was just glued in place. Is there a reason you don't want to use a 3d bracket? I'd highly recommend one. If you're in North America I can print you one if you want.

I thinks he means more as in other ways of making brackets other than having them 3D printed.
I have been thinking of making mine out of some scrap acrylic I have, but I might have one 3D printed when I have the screen and can find a place that would print for a good price.

I was wondering if I could still open the GBZ if there is no bracket and I don't have a 3d printer.

You can cut Cardboard, acrylic glass, wood, plastic plates....
