Adafruit Driver Board damaged

Post by Quito » Sat Jun 25, 2016 2:02 pm

Hi there,
I'm frustrated because i got a adafruit display 913. It took nearly 7 Werks to get one for a "normal" prize.
I made a mistake beeing inattentive while working on the driver board. Exitus!
There is no damage on the screen or the flex connector! I knew about some alternativ Displays but I prefer the 913 from adafruit. So i will ask for an alternativ driver board. Does anyone knew an board that will work? Maybe the Boards of the other Displays from adafruit? I dont want to wait another couple of weeks or pay more than 100€ at Amazon Uk.
Best regards
Quito

Sadly there is no other way besides driving the lcd directly via DPI. The adafruit 913 screen uses the CLAA035QVA01 panel which is extremely hard to find an individual driver board. Adafruit is selling this display way overprice, the same type of display, like lq035nc111, cost only about 20$ and will come with a driver board as well.
