Buttons - Opinions?

i've done a few different button options now, and i'm just curious what others think - if anyone has a current favorite, or hated, button type/style/maker currently.
here's my thoughts:
retromodding nes style - concave top. my hands-down favorite currently - great play feel and awesome look
handheld-legend two-piece -- not very comfortable to use for a/b, but the taller, rounded aspect works ok for x/y and they are used less. they look pretty nice, generally, but i haven't enjoyed using them as much as the nes style
"original" gameboy style, various - very much "adequate" / center of the road - not terrible, but not amazing. functional
kitsch-bent all-silicon -- i have a set of these for a planned build, but i haven't used them yet. initial impressions are that it could prove to be my new favorite for comfort and looks, but i'd be worried about how well the rubber holds up over time and use though - like grime and discoloring maybe, which would be harder to wash off than plastic
3d printed -- actually not terrible if you sand them with fine grain a bit and give them some coats of clear-coat. they actually can stand their own against inject-mold ones, and you can do some unique options.
are there other styles that are out there, different than those above?
