Im looking forward to see the improvements the Pi4 will bring once retropie runs with it.
That would be a good Signal for a CM4 to be used for retropie in Zero or any other Projects.

I was looking into the PSPi Project to replace the Zero with an Pi4 but I guess now I will have to wait for a CM4 to be used then.

Last I checked the developers behind RetroPi were still working on official compatibility. I believe a few have gotten it running on a Pi 4, if memory serves ETA Prime has a youtube video on it but I believe RetroPi was running inside another OS.

Whenever it is officially supported I will definitely switch out the Pi3B hooked up to my TV.

I heard that pi4 using a desktop OS is running Dolphin emulator almost full speed.
