Won't work for too long, the built in MCU that initializes the screen will be removed going on in the latest batches. An MCU will be needed to make it work if you get the newer ones.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). Don't contact me about any of my boards if they are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them.

Don't support thieves like ckliang who copied my AIO to resell and is now cloning the mintyPi, support the original creators and not the thieves!

Hi Helder! Any reason why the builtin MCU will be removed?

If it’s for Raspberry Pi then you can just initialize the lcd via spi like what the Pimoroni Hyperpixel is doing.

The manufacturer claims it's for stability but more than likely it's to save on cost and manufacturing defects due to the MCU being soldered to the ribbon.

I doubt this is going to work without an MCU to initialize it through it's SPI pins.
