Power On Button

Post by Angelino » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:22 am

Hello guys, i have a question.
I've read around in the forum and on web but i can't find anything about it.

The classic Gameboy Zero Projects, we have maded with slide switch.
Put on right, make connection from 5v and the board and boom. Turned on.

If i wanna made a power on like smartphone?
Push button switch (like we used in L/R button), and when we release button it turn on.

What is the circuit to do it?

If we can do it, .... after, how we turn off?

If you use an ADS you can set up a button, but then you need a switch to turn off the screen from what I've been reading

In my project there is an ADS1115 for battery monitor.
You think it can power on the system with push button? How?

I haven't done it yet, but per this thread it is possible with the script linked.

I've done a simple push on/off button for a Nespi Cart before with no problem, but it doesn't turn off my TV. =)
