Hi! I have a Gameboy Pocket that I want to put a Pi Zero inside but am stuck trying to choose the screen. I don't think the 2.8" screen will fit within the GBP? The overall width of the circuit board unit is 86mm and the Pocket is only 75mm. Does anyone have another idea for a screen, or is there a thread on the forum on another Pocket build? I'm new here so sorry if I've missed something!

I bought this http://www.ebay.ie/itm/New-2-8-TFT-LCD- ... 2221201598 and http://www.ebay.com/itm/231589004270?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT.
And I think these are both under 75 mill. Though you will have to get into setting up an SPI screen wich is a pain.

Ah excellent, have you used them yet? Does the pi zero run the screen fast enough? I don't mind setting up SPI, and it should save a tiny bit of space without the display driver board?

Also in the meantime, I decided to stop waiting for Helders board, which I he was kind enough to replace for me. And finish up my last attempt for a quick gbz. I had cut up an old damaged board, but it went pretty quickly.
Actually it is fascinating how easy it become to manage key-presses via GPIO pins with adafruits new version of Retrogame librarry. The whole wireing took me about 2-3 hours. I decided to print the screwposts in a local 3d printing shop (3dee.hu), I was super satisfied with their job and it was slightly cheaper and much faster then buying it on the market.

My first barebone spi screen arrived. I gave it a shot but, I am struggling with making the screen work... at all.
I followed this tutorial, but all I get is the backlight.
http://www.instructables.com/id/Connect ... out-Board/
I also tried adafruits prebaked distros but those also doesn't seem to work for me, out of the box.
If you know how to make these work with the current version of retropie, please point me in the right direction.
