Tried to desolder the rest of the GPIO pins by adding more solder but couldn't get it to work. Bought a more powerful soldering iron and managed to desolder them all, all the Ethernet and USB holes and the headphone jack.
Just need to do the camera and display connectors now.

LCD arrived but I wont be able to use it as the PCB is too wide to fit in the Gameboy. Have ordered another so hopefully this one is better.

Case also arrived, so I started modifying it to fit the LCD (at least I can use the LCD for test fitting) and added the X and Y buttons.
I think I will put a USB port in the ext connector and another where the contrast wheel was. Will also fit a micro usb port where the standard charging port goes.

Still waiting for:
- Buttons and silicone pads
- Button wells for X and Y
- Second LCD

Have done a lot more now.

Pi is all de soldered except for HDMI and micro usb.
All controls done and wired.
Pover Booster wired up.

Still waiting on the LCD to arrive.
