This is what I have so far. The display is from niceshopping on Amazon. I had to use a razor blade to separate the controller board from the back of the display, otherwise it was a strange and ineffective position. I found that tapping into the traces on the original gameboy controller board to be too frustrating and time consuming so I bought one on eBay that I'm sure one of you fine gents produced. I've got all my wires cut to size to finish the USB port, amp, speaker, power switch, power strip, and micro-USB port. But I'm really anxiously anticipating the 5th guide to come out.
All critiques/suggestions/comments/questions welcome!

This is looking really smart. Is that one of the kitsch-bent common ground boards? I've kind of trashed my PCB as a newcomer to all this sort of "Hacking / Modding" so i've ordered one from them, looks like it will keep everything much tidier as well.
