I'm amazed at how you fit everything in there. I'm working on my Pi3 Gameboy and I spend a lot of time test fitting and trying to figure out how to fit everything. Great job!

Re: D56: Gameboy Pi3
Thanks for the support guys, however I'm currently stuck with a major issue with the keyboard, when you press up nothing happens and if you press very hard it responds, when i open it and undo the screws it works perfect but soon as i close it it stops again, I'm starting to lose my mind on this cos I've been up till 5am last night starting at 8pm trying to fix this but not result, i have some more ideas (thinking the led's are pushing the board a bit and now gonna grind them down a bit. if that fails then I'm gonna try a few more dome's to see if that helps, but i should be getting my bike ready for a big ride tmo but i wanna finish this off first lol....need more sleep....

Also liking the ventilation. Mind sharing which grill and fan you used? I might need them for another build I'm planning using RPi 3. Was gonna about to "upgrade" my GBPi2 but I'm having second thoughts due to the heating issues.

Thanks! Will take note of these.
I thought the wire mesh is something that comes in a large sheet (like this one) that you cut, but it's actually a bracket plate.

Re: D56: Gameboy Pi3
I have gotten a similar issue. Perhaps it's not the same solution for you but my solders weren t good and when i closed the shell, it moved the wires and created a bad connection... Re: D56: Gameboy Pi3
well still having problems with the keyboard and very tempted to just buy another but from elsewhere, but i do have another gameboy to build using the same keyboard (brought as a batch) if his is better then im gonna order another one. but will see how it goes. this gameboy is pretty much don't but still waiting for parts for sound and to install headphone jack, however it wont fit cos the battery cell gets in the way so may have to move the jack elsewhere...joy

Re: D56: Gameboy Pi3
OK after taking a mini break thought i have another bash at this,
When i opened it i noticed pressure marks from the battery has pressed on the keyboard wires so I've moved the teensy board so this should give it space without parts against other stuff, not tested yet because currently I'm wiring in the audio
(At last)
installing the audio amp and just waiting for @Fleder to help me with one last bit then its done,
I know its messy but meh...its what its all about right
