All done, I really had no luck with screen protector no fault of the suppliers I kept getting glue everywhere. Anyways, I ended up using the screens case, dremmled it and stuck it on with strong double sided tape.
Also, I placed an empty cartridge in the back at the request of my wife. Happy with the results.

just a thought... how well does your WiFi and bluetooth work? I'm only asking because in your pic of the removed USB ports I can see some dremmel work which goes into the area that is the Wireless antenna. (if you google the pi zero w antenna, there's a few articles kicking around describing how the shape of the ground plane creates the antenna in a new (ish) and novel way. It's hard to see but you may have dremmeled sufficient away to affect the internal shape of it... or more specifically, the trace that actually connects the antenna to the wireless chip... :|

Thanks mate....I dont use Bluetooth so i couldn't tell you but the wifi is great (ssh for transferring roms). Looking at the photo it does look pretty eaten into but it really isn't
