Re: Thanos GB Zero build
Great idea on connecting the Teensy! Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears the security monitor already has amplifier, charger and battery status indicator already built?!

It took me awhile too to figure out that I had to lift the face plate to see the screws...vnman wrote:figured how to disassemble the case...

Re: Thanos GB Zero build
This screen has a "soft" power button to turn on-off the display, but it keeps the power on for the rest as the main power is switched on-off with a sliding switch.skrapps914 wrote:@tronicgr

In the menu you can also adjust the contrast and sharpness...
Thanks

Yes, its all in one device. TFT + charger + low voltage indicator on screen + amplifier.
I used I2S digital sound amplifier on my mod as I didn't want to build the PWM filter, but I might do if I get the new Helders button PCB.
Thanks

Those are called "PIN Headers" and you can buy them almost everywhere.Oicurpn wrote:where did you buy the connector you used to attach the pi zero to the teensy??
For instance: http://www.taydaelectronics.com/connect ... aders.html

First post on the parts list, 6th item. It's called "Micro USB Male to USB Female OTG Adapter Converter".Oicurpn wrote:where did you buy the connector you used to attach the pi zero to the teensy??
Easy to solder to and take up little space.
Re: Thanos GB Zero build
The driver board is a little too big to fit in my Non-OEM case (1mm too big on either side). Wonder if I can trim it
I removed the on/off switch on this and extend it, now the switch can sit where it is supposed to.

Re: Thanos GB Zero build
@vnman Looks like there is some unused space on each side of the board. You will probably be able to carefully shave some off with a hand file. Maybe shave some of the case away if you need to.
