Wow, that little Mario bit at the start is really good, I need to learn how to do that next once I've completed my build!

Thanks mate im glad you like it. The intro video i made with imovie on mac. I have a really old version but it was fine for what i needed it for. Its just a bunch of pictures and videos chopped up and blended together

Wow! This is a great surprise! Believe it or not, I was searching for your build in the show-off forum and since I didn't see your post, I thought you're still waiting on parts. And here you are posting a completed build!

Very nice build overall! I also like the white buttons - clean and unique. Very in seeing build pics if you have them. :)

Thanks for the feedback chiz and the inspiration for SNES buttons. My cut out for them is really clean but slightly larger than ideal. Still happy with it though.
Yeah my camera was so rubbish that i didn't bother with build photos. Ive got a few i took at the very start and I've just borrowed a camera now for some more completed photos..
Sorry that theres not much of in progress but I'm happy to answer any questions
Hey, as I've said before, the shoulder buttons gonna be at the back anyway that even if it's messed up, it will not be noticeable. That's what gave me the courage to pursue the idea of adding the shoulder buttons at the back. Honestly, I think your back holes are not that bad. Glad you liked the idea of the back shoulder buttons and was able to implement it as well. Just shows it's doable. My first try is really a proof of concept but you've proven it's something that's repeatable. 8-)

On the topic of batteries... Can you post a pic of how you were able to fit a larger battery and the link to the battery? TIA

Its just a 2000mah from rs online. Same sort as the adafruit just without the connectors. I have to slide the battery in and then back the other way to get it in place. Its a tight fit.
