Hey,

Are you planning on selling your mainboard PCBs?

Cheers

It is possible I will sell them. I need to work the minor kinks out first. I have modified my PCBs to accept the original card edge connector. To make this a reality I need to order the cart boards.

So will your new cart board work with the original cartridge reader from the DMG-01? That would be very cool and as I mentioned previously I would be interested in buying that if it works and the price is decent.

Yes my new cart board will work with the original dmg01 connector. Preorder is up in the for sale section.

Version 2.0 boards are on order. Here is the list of changes.

Moved audio circuitry away from all digital lines and integrated the Original GB Volume Wheel.

Added pads to solder the button ribbon cable to instead of soldering directly to the header

Integrated the OEM game boy card edge connector, And reorganized and labeled the pads for the Micro SD card connections to match the order of the pads on the Pi Zero.

integrated the 3.3V connection to the Card edge connector.

added nice connectors to the board for the L and R buttons and Speaker instead of having just solder pads.

integrated my graceful shut down power management circuit

My new boards came in and there were a couple things to fix. mainly the graceful shutdown circuit had to be redone with the same part in a different package. I also had to move the pi mounting down a little more because it was interfering with volume control. I did manage to build one up and get it mostly working. The volume is working awesome and the noise in the audio is much better. my original GB card edge connector is lined up perfectly. will be excited to get the next rev of the board. I think I will finally have something i can fully assemble and be just right.
