I've started a GameBoy Pocket 0. I got meself a broken GBP. Gonna solder to the traces of the board and use the jack, speaker, and volume. More time waiting on parts (bangood psu, screen than actually doing anything. Means I should plan it better so I marked out the cuts I'll be making to the boards first.

Still waiting on my screen. Over a month and a half now :(

Using the GPIO Pins with just A/B St/Se and dPad. Mainly concentrating on NES/GB/MasterSystem so I don't need x/y/l/r. Also using the GPIO audio using the Kitchbent PWM Easy board. Tested everything out on the telly with HDMI and it works perfect, headphones and all.

Fingers crossed I'm not waiting much longer on my screen, the postman thinks I'm mental looking out the window all the time!

What size screen are you fitting?
I've got a broken pocket I've been wanting to mod but the screen is the issue..

I tried to mod that screen to run from 5v and it blew the back light and when i shine a light behind it all i see is a white screen with primary coloured vertical lines.

Did you Mod the input voltage or just run it at 12v?

Mine worked with 5v right away without modification. TBH, I set it up and just wasn't happy with the quality/size. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I'd be happy to send it to you if you cover the postage, I can't see myself using it. PM me if you want it.

After I decided the screen wasn't what I wanted, I hacked a 3.5 to the front. Completely lost the form factor of the GBPocket, but I can play tetris while I work on a 3d printed case. I'll upload pics of the monstrosity when I get a chance.
