Wanted to start a topic as motivation so I don't get side tracked so here is what I've done so far . I have already taken all the useable parts from my old gameboy (screen was broken so I didn't use it ) and I started to make some mods to the case

- Printed hoolyhoo's bracket works very well still have to tap the holes but I cleaned it up

- Mounted my bw screen but it doesn't seem to go low enough this is the screen as low as I can resting on the button well . Should I consider mounting the screen upside down and invert the image?

- Harvested buttons and wells from a aftermarket case

- Countersunk the buttons to achieve a similar look to original

Yes no logo it had a big scratch across Nintendo son I took all the logos off considering making my own got some water slide paper

Hey yeah I used a countersink bit just manually because it was really sharp and didn't want to over do it

Planning to use these to keep things organized and to test with I'll remove the male and female connections and wire directly after

Hey yeah I originally got them on amazon for 5 US dollars I'm sure you could find them other places though

I just ordered a meter spool of it (sans connectors), 40 strands for a few bucks on eBay.
