Yeah okay, that would work .. but i think i will end up making my own button caps out of some white massive plastic tube, or even caps from a ballpoint, i really dont want to drill out the screw holes to make them bigger, maybe up to 1mm bigger but no more.. want them similar like they are now but not such a tiny pin of tactile sticking out, it just needs a cap a small one, but first im gonna look for some very tiny spring loaded momentary switches, i really hate the clicking aargh.. want them to feel and sound like the other buttons on the front. but it's a pita to find this stuff, like i said i meight end up diy this stuff ...

I recently used the larger tactile switches directly on the back but not 100 percent happy as GBZ doesn't lay flat. Will go back to angles in the middle screw wells and keep an eye out for new style tactiles!

Hmm, just mounted the spring loaded mini switches, they are really perfect man i tell you, will post that Gbz in the show off corner in a few days or so.
Got one question, these carts you often use, i assume they are from a GBC, but how does that turn out with the original DMG power switch?
And that said, i mean that little lip on the switch that locks the DMG cart in place when powering on.

Not sure on the ones Lphillimore uses, but I know a lot of aftermarket GBC cartridges have the notch in them for the slide switch, it's just on the back peice, and doesn't show on the front:

You can also buy a used game cartridge. Choose a really bad game that has no value on the market (not something like mario, zelda or pokemon lol). You will have a perfect original look with it... ;)

Look forward to seeing it man 👍

Yeah I was only able to get a load of the green GBC carts and they have the notches already there. On my Kite build i used an original clear GBC cart with an old Japanese version of Mario in.

Oh but , i really want such a golden cart  so let's open up a pokemon cart hehe... (no way)
Right now i'm using just grey carts. meanwhile i have alot tetris pcb's and some other shitty games :P
but i was curious about the notch on the green one's..
Wanted to paint some carts too, but because of scratching of the paint i decided not to do, maybe i'll wrap one :P
