First Pi0 Build

Post by goosewerks » Sat Jul 22, 2017 7:48 pm

Hello, been lurking here for months now, reading and researching on how to make my own unit(s). Here are the final photos of my GBZ and a few in-progress photos. Lots of learning for me here, including how to use GPIO for controls vs Teensy, all the wiring fun, using USB DAC instead of PWM and patience when I break things (RIP GearBest scree, BW Screen, RPi3, etc).

Pretty standard build:

RPi0W
Powerboost 1000C
2.5W Amp
DMG PCB via GPIO
USB DAC
BW Amazon Screen (5v ready)
KB Glass Screen Protector
Chose not to integrate SD Cart
