I've been trying to get my hands on a clear game cartridge for a while now. Where did you pick yours up?

This is basically my dream build! I’m hoping to catch the next AIO board and your clear printed parts and cart are amazing touches! Would you be willing to make and sell some of the pieces you made?

Jellybelly,
Can you help me buy transparent bracket and transparent game cartridge?
Also I’d like transparent button and digital pad.
Thanks.

I can confirm that the screen is visible through the case and the screen cover. I have done a clear orange build which can be seen here
Do you find it distracting? How much is visible?

Can I ask one of you to post a pic of the zero front on when working?... Thanks.

Any recommendations for how to smooth out the portions / extra plastic of the case you had to remove like the screen posts?

I got it flush with the case but the color of the area where the plastic was removed is not uniform in color compared to the shell. See photo in the link below.

You could try a little acetone, but be careful it will likely cloud the area around there too. Also some clear touchup paint or nail polish may help.

My thought is that the discoloration comes from the plastic bending/heating when it was being snipped. You'd have to get through the discolored part to the green underneath.

I'm not sure if sanding alone would create a clear surface. Maybe do some tests with wet sanding?

Its not from the heat and more from the fact when you snip bed it that you don't get a perfectly clean cut its has a bunch of tiny little imperfections that give the white look since it is no longer perfectly smooth. That is why a single straight cut with a xacto knife doesn't have the same effect. By using something to try and fill it in you can get a smoother (and cleaner looking finish).
Think of it like a scratch in the clear coat of the paint on your car, it will look white even tho you have only scratched the clear coat, you can try sanding it out but it will end up cloudy with very fine scratches (you can't really polish plastic cases like you can a car) so filling it with some clear coat or trying a chemical to get a more uniform finish is likely a better solution.
