Hi I'm new,I'm surfing around to grab all the precious info on this wonderful forum to know how to make my own gbz...(or at least I hope...)
impressive and clean build here like the previous two!
Which of the 3 lcd screens is your favorite and after testing 3 different types which you suggest to use?

out of the 3 that i've posted....

the Kedei screen IMHO is better (but getting one that fits the shell/case is a gamble at the moment)
then the SPI is a close second (but isnt without its issues, which are minor)

however, i have also build a few builds with the Gearbest 3.5" composite LCD which i feel is best out of that bunch of screen

@veterangamer Great build! Could I ask what length tactile switches you used? The cap seller specifies 5mm and below being too short. I'm guessing you used 6mm lengths but I wondered if you might have used longer ones because of the hole depth?

i actually use 15mm....

this due to also using some 3d printed parts (can be found/seen in my 1st build) that holds the tactiles in place....

@veterangamer Ahhh, I see! Brilliant, thank you. Could I ask for the link of the switches you bought? There's loads on aliexpress, but I'm wondering if some have slightly different body dimensions.

Awesome! Also like the YuGiOh game as well. Though which one is it? I got dark duel stories, alll gba games and a number of ds yugioh games too. loved them & their promos.

there standard 6x6 tactiles....
(you can only use 6x6 with the caps i've provided a link for on the first page)

i use 15mm because of the 3D printed parts i use....

but you can use whichever size suits your build, theres not a specific size you need to use (but it does have to be a minimum of 6mm)

I find if you use anything much shorter than 9mm for the height of those switched you have issues because you have to mount them so deep into the back of the case (so the short nub stick through enough) that the curve of the case can stop them from siting flush.
Like Veteran says it will depend on your 3D printed parts, but I'd plan around using something 11mm or taller.

if you search my previous builds, anything i havent listed in this build post is in them....

there no pint in repeating the same info over and over again (especially when its the basics of a build)

but if you dont want to take the time to look around (or use the forum search function), heres a link...

Veteran,.

I love your SNES cartridge. Would you happen to make and sell a US SNES version of the cartridge and sticker for the gameboy?
