Re: Brian's GBZ
Yeah Cause I'm thinking of adding a cartridge reader on to the board. Without a breakout it will be so hard to accomplish!wermy wrote:Sweet! I see you went for the kitsch-bent cartridge -- nice.

Re: Brian's GBZ
The modification of the front case have done:
I've added the brackets to prevent the button from spinning and a place for the silicon pad to sit on
With the PCB on:
I might come back and trim the ring of the hole later, but now it seems good to me!

Re: Brian's GBZ
How did you get/add those brackets? Did you take them off of a second shell?
I have the original shell and a second black shell that i will actually use so i'm definitely going to try and cleanly cut off the unused brackets. Did you use hot glue to attach them?

I made them myself and now they are sold out:DFotten wrote:Where did you get that controllerboard?
Awesome this far
I shared my files and now at the sell/trade forum several people are selling them as well, you can get one there

Re: Brian's GBZ
I got mine from a NES controller, sand them down a bit and stick them with superglue.Ganreizu wrote:How did you get/add those brackets? Did you take them off of a second shell?

Great start Brian!
I see you have all the needed components in your hands, excellent! Looking forward to your build.
PS: Finally, I can address you more easily! It's difficult to memorize you other (numeric) handle.
