Hello guys! Finally most of my components have arrive and I can start building my own gameboy zero!

I've don't most of the modification require to the case, and I will start on carving the buttons hole now :D
The display haven't arrive yet but should be here on Monday, can't wait for that!

Yeah :D Cause I'm thinking of adding a cartridge reader on to the board. Without a breakout it will be so hard to accomplish!

The modification of the front case have done:

I've added the brackets to prevent the button from spinning and a place for the silicon pad to sit on

:D I might come back and trim the ring of the hole later, but now it seems good to me!

How did you get/add those brackets? Did you take them off of a second shell?

I have the original shell and a second black shell that i will actually use so i'm definitely going to try and cleanly cut off the unused brackets. Did you use hot glue to attach them?

I made them myself and now they are sold out:D
I shared my files and now at the sell/trade forum several people are selling them as well, you can get one there ;)

I got mine from a NES controller, sand them down a bit and stick them with superglue.

I see you have all the needed components in your hands, excellent! Looking forward to your build.

PS: Finally, I can address you more easily! It's difficult to memorize you other (numeric) handle. :lol:
