Tinker's Printed CSO Build

Post by ThompsonTinkers » Sat Apr 28, 2018 1:25 pm

Hi all,

This is pretty early in the build process, and I'm taking my time. But I figured I'd share.

Because I can't do anything the easy way, I want to use Kite's CSO with his 640x480 LCD. So I'm printing a case that's just a little wider than a DMG to accommodate the slightly wider screen. While I'm at it, I'm squeezing in Adafruit's 6600mAh battery.

Four prints in, and I have the PCB mounted to the case, with start, select, abxy and the dpad all working.

I still need to figure out how I'm going to screw the case together, and design a fan duct for the back. Oh, and expose the ports and micro-SD card. They're going to have to be recessed because of the wider case.

Here are some photos.
