Ads wiring seen here. If using a dpdt switch you can have 5v ang battery voltage go through the switch. This diagram only shows a spst switch.

Yeah, minty battery monitor or mintycombo script.

Yes. Depending if you need the extra hotkeys. I usually find the mintybatterymonitor is sufficient for my needs.

Mintybatterymonitor =
On screen battery level
Auto shutdown at critical battery level
One button to safe shutdown
One button to toggle battery monitor on or off

Mintycomboscrip =
On screen battery level
Auto shutdown at critical battery level
Multiple hotkeys with the use of a function button
Volume up and down
Brightness up and down (if using a minty pi)
Bluetooth and wifi on and off
Safe shutdown hotkey combo
Battery indicator toggle hotkey combo

I was reading through the show off builds (yes, i have already read 13 full webpages =13x27 threads) and noticed someone saying that his snes games were lagging, and (maybe) it was because of the mintycombo. Anyone had similar issues?

No problem about off topic, as for the slowdowns with the minty combo, yeah, I saw that thread from FlashyFrank about it slowing down his SNES. I've used the mintycombo script numerous times before, and I have not really noticed any slow downs. Might be random that it happened to him, not certain. Regardless, try it, and if you see similar issues, just use the mintybattermonitor script instead.
