Post by Russian_master » Fri Jan 25, 2019 2:14 am

A week later, I finished my build. Turned out roughly, namely the holes for the buttons

I used the button panel with ali, they work fine except for the cracker, it requires a strong push

I will try to make the next assembly more carefully, what kind of experience I received from the first assembly.
I want to order tinkerBOY Controller V3.0, it looks nice, and it seems easy to install

Thanks for attention

It turned out ok. i think all 1st builds are a bit rough, it's the way it is if you are using single and simple components.
Thus, it works so you can be happy about it.

That controller board, is just a common ground and pwm traces, or it has place for the amplifier?

I have some of those. no place for an amp, but it does have L/R in. It has a ribbon cable and board that you mount to the pi gpio to connect the ribbon, but you can also just wire up at those test points too (like when you screw up soldering the ribbon connector.. like I did on one), and use it like a common ground board. that area on the board near the bottom, next to the audio jack, is for a little joystick, but it's not analog. it just maps to the up/down/left/right like the d-pad. It gives you one hotkey too, but i don't really like where it mounts it, under the screen.

I use a translator and do not quite understand what you mean, if about sound then yes I used Usb 3d sound and D-PAM8302 without it the sound of the speaker was very weak

If I had to guess I'd say it looks like the Aliexpress pcb
