My first ever complete handheld build I did in the form of the Gaboze Pocaio

This is the 2.4" original version, I went wit the basic build for this one with only 2 buttons.
Being the first build its not perfect...

Went for the teal and white colour scheme and fitted a nice original glass lens.

During modding the plastic has distorted and left a visible white mark right above the battery bay, also position of the cart is wrong... For a first effort though, I think it turned out pretty well and built the foundation for my future, more clean and improved builds.
I opted to build this by hand, down to the SMD components at the audio amp, I think for a first SMD soldering effort I did relatively good.

Also my first time soldering a ribbon cable which was extremely easy with some flux and a clean tip

I had to do lots of filing, cutting, sanding and finishing to get stuff to fit in the case... Took a long time to get to a presentable condition, overall happy with the outcome, this build was definitely a learning experience and enabled my current builds to be as good as they are now.

Thanks, but this one doesn't deserve your praise, the first effort was not so good, my newer builds will be up later on today.

You shouldn't sell yourself short. In the end all that matters is that you had fun. Personally, I like it. I think all of these, no matter how "simple" are amazing, since I find soldering, drilling and all other things done in these projects to be too complicated.

Thanks for the kind words!
