Seems to be a very interesting build.
Which version is it, with anodize or not?

Excited to see the cases arriving. I have a question about the screen area, is there any need to glue the screen in place, or will it stay put? Any need for glue at all?

No need for glue at all. It stays in place quite nicely and was built to accommodate the 320x240 screen. The battery is a different story as there isn't a provision to hold it in place. What I did was put a piece of velco on the battery inside cover and the battery to stop it from moving around.
Of note, the hoolyhoo buttons are too small to stay attached. I'm going to need to print some slightly different buttons to compensate.

I believe he designed it to use Nintendo DS Lite buttons.

You're correct. An oversight on my part. The buttons that come with your kit are almost large enough, but not quite. I did use one for the mode button which is a perfect fit.

Ugh it looks slick as hell. I've built a few ok-ish systems now but I'm actually using my Circuit Sword build daily and I think this might just be the perfect case for the next one.
Or maybe Boxy will design a gameboy pocket case for the shield

I love this so much. One of my favorite parts is that there is the same oval button recess with th4e X/Y buttons as there is with the ABs.
