Did you follow this guide? You will need to follow all the steps before the gamepad will be detected:

Do I need internet on my pi to connect via ssh? Cause I am using the pi zero without internet? Is there any other way?

Serial is via gpio but you might need a uart cable. Usbotg is something you enable in the config.txt then just plug a USB cable in from the power port to the computer like you're charging a phone and run putty over the serial port that presents itself
Here's a guide:

Thanks again!
In terms of the Cheaper PCB Board it is very different from the Helder's board of course and I was wonder if there is still a way of connecting the same components with the cheaper board. I know it would be different but I have this diagram for Helders set up
Just wondering if there is a diagram for the Cheaper PCB
I have the following chips to solder:
  • Power boost 1000c
    2.5w class D amp
    USB Micro
The power board for positive and negative (I know what needs to be done with :-)
The BW backup camera screen (has Red Black Yellow and White)
and the PI Zero (the grd buttons I know already)
Is there a good Tread or photos for this set up?

Sorry very overwhelmed

You don't have a specific thread for your board but keep asking here and people will help you as much as they can.

You will hace to wire everything to the pi itself directly with your board as its goal is just taking care of the buttons (by the way, do you have a circuit for buttons or do you need to then wire to the pi itself ?)

Edit : sorry, didn't took a big look to your post. Yes, your board is just collecting contacts from buttons, and you need to wire everything (yes really everything) directly to the Pi

Woah! Thats crazy and kinda funny but Im up for the challenge I came this far. Everyday I am pleased but surprised with the progress. What is your suggestion so not to over heat? Solder one wire every 5 mins?

I have a button board for 4 buttons and 2 extra grounds :-)

To not overheat you'll need a temperature controlled tip.
You have a cool tutorial there to make good soldering
