Running 5 inch bw screen off 5v

Hi guys,

and was wondering if I could get it to run off of 5v. I've tried a couple a different voltages with varying results. 3.3v and 12v caused the screen to not respond at all, while 5v causes the screen to flicker white every minute or so. I've put some pictures below.

The encoder(?) chip is: AMT630A G172944409
Regulator 1(?) is MX 25D40BTIG
Regulator 2(?) is Techcode TD1519A F8745312
