Help With Building First GBZ and Ideas

Post by Octopus3535 » Tue Aug 28, 2018 3:59 am

Hello, I'm trying to build my first GBZ and acquire all the parts for it and thought I would turn to this thread for some help. I have been following these projects since the beginning, and since I love collecting old games and playing them, I thought why not make one? I ordered a Circuit Sword from Kite in 2017 or so. I wasn't able to touch it for a while but now I'm investing time into some of my other console mods and this so I would like to order everything efficiently as possible.
A Few Questions
- Are they any cases for sale on the fourm that would make it easier than modding everything? ( Possibly this)
- Is it possible with the Circuit Sword kit to have two joy sticks and a L1 + R1 and L2 + R2. (I would hopefully use something like a gba shoulder buttons on the back)
- What the heck do I actually need? My Parts Imgur

What I believe I need so far
- 30x30mm fan
- JST battery cable? (I might have)
- 32gb SD card
- Screen surround
- Mini Hdmi to Hdmi
Buttons
- A, B, X, Y,
- L1, L2, R1, R2
- Start + Select
- D-Pad
- 2 Joy Sticks

What I was hoping for was something like how the bumpers wrap around the gba towards the edge. Something more than two buttons on the back.
