White lines on screen

Post by Tropps » Mon Sep 24, 2018 7:01 am

Hey all,

I'm having some trouble with my GB screen showing white lines. When I first started my build I wired it up and it was working fine. Now that I'm partway in I tested it again and these lines are showing. I didn't change the soldering to the Pi Zero so I'm worried the screen or ribbon cable somehow got damaged during the mounting of it. Any thoughts?

use a different Ground connection, maybe the one next to video on the pi. or on the power strip.
if that does not work, try the other video input wire.. (only one)

Also check your soldering points. :)

i had this problem, and connecting the Ground wire to different grounds on either the pi itself like gpio, micro usb pads, or the powerstrip gave me mixed results. the powerstrip was the best solution for me
